WordPress v3.4.2 which is a maintenance and security release has been released to the public for download a few days ago. WordPress 3.4.2 fixes a few security issues and contains some security hardening. The vulnerabilities included potential privilege escalation and a bug that affects multisite installs with untrusted users. These issues were discovered and fixed by the WordPress security team.

WordPress 3.4 Release Candidate 3 Released For Download
WordPress have just released their third release candidate version WordPress 3.4 Release Candidate 3 to the public for download and testing purposes. They have fixed several issues in this release including the live preview function, custom headers and backgrounds. WordPress have also confirmed that this will be the last RC update release befor we see a full final WordPress 3.4 release in the coming days.

WordPress 3.4 Release Candidate 2 Released For Public Download
WordPress have today released WordPress 3.4 RC2 (Release Candidate 2) which will most probably be the last test release before we see a full WordPress 3.4 final release sometime next week. You can read more details about this latest release and download it from the links below.
The second release candidate for WordPress 3.4 is now available. Since RC1, we’ve made a few dozen final changes.

We think we’re done, but with millions of users and thousands of plugins and themes, it’s possible we’ve missed something. So if you haven’t tested WordPress 3.4 yet, now is the time!
